We bought this mat for our deck, which faces south and has no shade. Our previous outdoor rug took forever to dry, but this one quickly dries, since it's plastic. It has been battered by rain, wind, and sun this summer. Didn't change its appearance at all. The colors are vibrant and the mat had held up well over the summer. The plastic can get a little hot if in direct sun, but unless you're barefoot on it, it's not an issue.
These lightweight, colorful mats are the best outdoor mats I’ve found. They are not the cheapest and although a little pricier, I find myself going back to this brand after trying others. They really hold up in the weather. I bring them in in the winter but I’ve had one that has lasted several years already.

After a few summers using indoor/outdoor rugs that take forever to try on our uncovered deck due to the high humidity, I wanted to try something new. We've tried three other recycled plastic rugs before this. They looked ok but they didn't hold up neither as well as this one. I am 100% in love with this rug. I wish I'd gotten the larger size. This is the 5x8. But I bought it in a store and this was all they had. Its so nice to have the look of a rug, and protection from the weathered deck while not having to worry about mildew, mold, and puddles! I highly recommend them!
